But it doesn't help, so no chipset drivers and no touchpad
#Asus atk driver windows 8.1 install#
So I connected a usb mouse and continued with the installation, but when I'm trying to install the chipset drivers for this same laptop it says that some changes need to rollback before I can install it and restart is necessary. When I boot from a flash drive to install Windows 10 again, the touchpad does not work (In ubuntu it does). Then in Windows 8 you might be able to point the unknown devices to that folder by selecting the option to manually update the driver for that device. Thanks so much, but unfortunately now I got a bigger problem. You have to create the folder, and change the drive letter to what you need to.

The path in red will be to a folder you create on a storage device such as a USB flash drive, data partition, or second hard drive. You can save the drivers from Windows 10 by opening a Command Prompt (Admin) or Powershell (Admin) and running the following command:ĭism /online /export-driver /destination: E:\Drivers Other Info: Macrium (Licensed), Password Safe, Office 365, Wise Disk Cleaner, Crystal Disk Info Synology NAS DS918+ 10TB, Netgear Nighthawk X8 R8500 Tri-Band Samsung 860 EVO 1TB (Primary Data Drive),Īntivirus: Malwarebytes Premium, SuperAntiSpyware Pro (Licensed) Samsung 840 EVO 250GB (System Copy Drive), Hard Drives: Samsung M.2 NVMe 960 EVO 500GB Boot, Mouse: Logitech MX Master 3 Wireless & BluetoothĬooling: Corsair Hydro H150i, 360mm Rad & Five Corsair 140mm Pro ML Case Fans Keyboard: das Keyboard MX Brown Mechanical Switches Model DASKMKPROSIL-3G7-r1.0 Monitor(s) Displays: Asus VP279 27", Samsung BX2431 24"
